Made in Wolves - University of Wolverhampton
Competition: WINNER!!! The university was looking for a brand logo for a new creative project which will enable our home grown talent of students, Alumni, Artists in Residence and staff to sell their work. ‘Made in Wolves’ which will provide a platform to get our artist's work seen and their names recognised by a wider audience, raising awareness of what is achieved here at our Wolverhampton's School of Art. Artworks have been sold from all areas of the School of Art and included painting, limited edition pints, ceramics, textiles, photography etc. Artworks have be sold as either one-offs or limited editions to maintain exclusivity and integrity of the work. A range of price points will suit all budgets so that buyers have an opportunity to own conceptually interesting and beautifully made art. Artworks have been sold online with a view to branching out to a wider audience such as: art fairs, pop up stands at degree shows, art gallery gift shops. The design I have created does not date quickly - current, contemporary, but has longevity, and also reflects the exclusivity of our artworks.
